Spider Invasion
An Itsy-Bitsy Sequel
Magdalena Piech and Alexandra S. Aderhold reunite for the second chapter of “Bitter Moon Tarot”. This time, they weave a tale with AI spiders, and draw inspiration from the crimson depths of the first shoot's iconic shoes, casting a vivid canvas for their newest creation.
As the artist and visionary, Alexandra imparts a clear message embedded in these projects: “I aim to spotlight the intersection of animal rights with art, fashion, and technology. I firmly believe that ethical art is inseparable from the principles of consent and the rights of all sentient beings. Latex represents a glimpse into the future of fashion, where plant-based materials will replace the skin of other animals, and AI, as a powerful tool, enables us to bring our creative visions to life without infringing upon the fundamental rights of others. When we want to have spiders and snakes in photos and videos, we can have that without animal exploitation, and that’s just wonderful! I hope this endeavor serves as inspiration for fellow artists, fostering a future where vegan art and fashion thrive, and any practices rooted in animal exploitation become a dark part of our history books.“
